Genuine question to trans people, what do you do for a living?

Posting this on an alt so it doesn't get traced back to me irl. I'm going off to law school literally this week and a lot of my friends are telling me that a trans lawyer wouldn't be taken seriously. This has me wondering what do you guys do for a living?
