NYC Winter footwear
I'll be spending a good amount of time walking around NYC, taking trains, etc, and I need a good all around boot to keep my feet warm, and dry. I need traction and some stability, and have a wider toe box.
I went to the Thursday store, and was able to try on the Captain, which looks great, but to me, they were super heavy and even after break in, I can't imagine my feet feeling good in them during a long walk.
I also like the look of the Chrome Industries 514 Storm Boot, but I have my doubts that it's a suitable.
I prefer more classic designs (I'm 56). Can anyone suggest an appropriate boot? Classic leather, sneaker-boot, I don't care as long as it fits the criteria.
All suggestions welcome. Thank you, internet!
