So I am very interested in seeing the Fugitive, but I have no experience with the show

I say this as the movie starring Harrison Ford looks very interesting in its premise, but every time I want to get into the movie, I am always reminded that it originally came from an TV show, and so my largest concern is if I must be familiar with the show at all first in order to appreciate the movie version.
