Carpenter/Carpentry Apprenticeship

Hey (29 M) I'm looking to start an Apprenticeship in Carpentry for the New Year. I've always wanted to become a Carpenter and move abroad. But I ended up going to college due to peer pressure, in which I got a degree in Construction Economics.

But now that I'm older and questionably wiser, I want to get into the trade. Ive always had an active interest growing up, completing my own projects for my own family/friends in my spare time, and also painted in conjunction with any projects I did do..

I just throughly enjoy it when I can.. Would it be unusual to include images (before/after) in with my application of just some paneling, or would it even matter? I'm trying to show my active interest throughout the years, just an enjoyment in my spare time.

I hope to someday get the chance to build enough skills to build my own place from scratch in the future, or being able to build a log cabin someday would be mindblowing for me.. I've a degree in Construction Economics, but I'd rather be out working with my hands, then in an office... Is there even a demand at the moment?

Even if someone saw this post and are looking for someone, feel free to reach out to me on this. I'd be looking to start immediately if I could. I don't know if it's a hard gig to get into, I'm not seeing much posts around Cork for it. So I'm trying to get somewhat creative by posing on Reddit.

If I could get training and support, id give you my 110% in return, no questions asked. But with the idea that someday id have the chance to take my skills abroad. Id have a chat with anyone for advice let it be over the phone, or meet for a coffee. So feel free to reach out!

Thanks in advance.
