Here's some tips for those not getting hired!

You’ve applied to 100’s of jobs and no response. Don’t think for a second, you're not qualified.

Double check your resume for these requirements to get passed through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) used by 99% of companies in the Fortune 500.

Use the simplest format

Don’t use vertical columns

Make sure you're delivering your resume in the correct format PDF, DOC, HTML. If they do not specify, go with Word Document.

Use keywords

Review the job description and requirements and other similar jobs. Steal and reword your resume using repeated keywords to ensure your resume matches what they are looking for.

Pay attention to experience level, location, skills that they require. There’s a chance you're getting filtered by them requiring 2 years and you do not specify you match this 2 years of experience.

Do not use slang, abbreviations. The ATS does not understand. If you want your resume to reach human eyes, make your resume sound natural.

You do not lose anything reaching out directly to the recruiter or hiring department

If your qualifications match the job and believe your resume was thrown in the black hole as a result of the ATS, send an email. You might be the best fit, it does not make you look any less qualified to voice your concerns about your resume not getting the green light from the system.

Thanks for reading and Goodluck! Keep applying and stay ready to start your future remote job.
