Canadian-American Dual Citizen entering Canada: Old Name on Citizenship Card?

Hey, I'm asking this on behalf of my best friend but she's planning on moving up to Canada soon. She has dual citizenship (american-canadian) and the citizenship card to prove it, however she changed her first name a few years ago. However, the citizenship card still has her old name on it. She does have a certificate/letter showing proof of her legal change of name however. Would she be able to enter Canada and stay there by bringing her US passport, citizenship card, and proof of her legal change of name to the border? Thanks and please let me know.
