Please give me an opinion on which version is better

(And a reason for your opinion, if there is one! ) Also “just looks better to me” is welcome. This is an in progress Volcarona (Pokémon) ballgown based on a sketch I made last year. I’m trying to enter it in a craftsmanship showcase so CC is also welcome. I’ve included a shot of it on (wings and hat not yet wearable).
